Amy Jacobson Holdt, 43, of Luck, WI died Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at her home after a courageous battle with metastasized breast cancer. Her family was with her.
Amy was born April 23, 1966 in St. Croix Falls to Gerald and Nancy Jacobson. She attended school in Frederic, WI and graduated in 1984. In the fall of 1984 she attended WITI in Rice Lake and graduated with an Associate Degree in Accounting. Amy worked for the past 15 years as an Administrative Assistant and Accounts Payable at Tenere in Dresser, WI.
Amy married Rick Antonson in 1987 and had a daughter, Jessica. In 2004 she married Jack Holdt, and she was also step-mom to Jack’s boys, Kyle and Brett.
Amy had many hobbies including gardening, baking, scrapbooking, needlework and decorating her home.
She is survived by her daughter, Jessica; husband, Jack; step-sons, Kyle and Brett; and grandson, Landon. She is also survived by her parents, Gerald and Nancy Jacobson; sister, Laura (Wendell) McKeag; in-laws, Ken and Wilma Holdt; brother-in-law, Brian (Marni) Holdt; niece, Jenni Holdt; nephews, Brandon Holdt and Andrew McKeag; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorial services will be held at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church in Frederic, WI on Tuesday, April 27 at 11:00 a.m.
AN ADDITIONAL VISITATION IS NOW SCHEDULED TO BE HELD MONDAY EVENING, APRIL 26TH AT THE ROWE FUNERAL HOME IN FREDERIC, WI FROM 5 TO 7 PM AND AGAIN ON TUESDAY 1 HOUR PRIOR TO THE SERVICE AT THE CHURCH.
Pastor Freddie Kirk will be officiating. Kordi Kurkowski and Liz Ruhn will provide special music. Honorary Pallbearers will include Ann Rademacher, Rita Bohn, Lisa Olson, Denielle Knauber, Shari Matz, Mande Kuechenmeister, Jan King, Suzanne Vitale and Joyce Owens; all close friends of Amy.
