Obituary for Ann M. Dahling
Ann M. Dahling, 53, Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Sister, resident of Frederic, WI, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, July 14, 2013, at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN.
Ann married Richard (Rick) Dahling on July 7, 1979. They recently celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary. To this union 2 children were born: Tom (Richard) and Christina.
Ann was born October 12, 1959, in St. Paul, MN to Donald and Maryann O’Connor. The family moved to the Milltown, WI area where Ann started her education at the Unity High School. She finished her schooling and graduated from Unity High School in 1978.
She loved her family (and puppy Kyra) dearly and always tried to help them, care for them and be there for them whenever she could. She also loved growing herbs and flowers, gardening, and trying new recipes for family gatherings. She had a passion for cooking and was always watching the cooking channel for new ideas she could try. She was a loving mother, grandmother, wife, sister and friend, and she will be missed deeply.
Preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Maryann O’Connor.
She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Rick Dahling and his parents, Dick and Julie Dahling; children, Tom (April) Dahling, Christina (Sam) Halverson; grandchild, Gabriel Halverson; sisters, Patricia (William) McPherson, Maureen O’Connor, Mary C. Mumm, Kathy (George) Fleury, Marge (Jerry) Jones, Sharon (Timm) Driscoll, and Colleen (Dennis) Green; brothers, Mike (Judy) O’Connor, Thomas O’Connor and Don (Brenda) O’Connor.
Funeral services will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 19th, visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Immanuel Lutheran Church is located at 1st and Maple in Frederic, WI.
