Obituary for Avis Ruud Gabrysh
Avis Leone Anderson-Ruud-Gabrysh, 86, Frederic, WI, passed away peacefully August 1, 2016, at Traditions of Frederic. Avis was born March 11, 1930.

Avis worked for Duncan Yo-yo. After moving to Minneapolis, MN, she worked for Control Data and Medtronic, where she retired from in 1998. She moved back to Frederic in 2010, where she resided until her passing.

She is survived by daughters, Patty (Ed Numainville) and Marilynn (Ron Peterson); grandchildren, Dana Titton, Jennifer Murphy, Bruce (Christina) Murphy and Alysa (Luke) Fenton; great-grandchildren, Ashley, Tyler, Terrell, Brittany, Makayla, Daunte, Carrigan, Caden, Dayveon, Alexya and Alex; great-great-grandchildren, Jaxson and Lily; sisters, Jean Hill and Karen Hudoba; nieces and nephews and many friends; and her beloved cat, Ellie.

She was preceded in death by son, Bruce; granddaughter, Amy Murphy; parents, Bennie and Leone Anderson; husbands, Bernard Ruud and Ambrose Gabrysh; brother, Harold Anderson; brother-in-law, Dewey Hill; and niece, Wendy Kay Morse.

Gratitude is extended to Traditions of Frederic and the St. Croix Hospice for the special care Avis received and to the many friends she made while she lived there.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 20, with visitation beginning at 9 a.m., service at 10 a.m. at the Lewis United Methodist Church.
