Obituary for Barbara A. Blazies
Barbara (Johnson) Blazies, 66, passed away January 26, 2018, from cancer.  She was diagnosed December 13, 2017, and lost her short battle with cancer at the Frederic Nursing and Rehab center. 

She was born January 6, 1952, in Frederic, Wis., to Willard and Arlene Johnson.  Barb grew up and went to school in Frederic.  She loved horses, hunting, fishing, being with family, playing softball and horseshoes.  On July 18, 1970, Barb married the love of her life, Dennis Blazies, at the Zion Lutheran Church of Bone Lake.  They took over the family farm after the passing of her father in 1971.  Along with farming she also worked at Ostlings and Alcan Sewing.  They sold the family farm 1978 and moved to a larger farm closer to town.  They stopped farming and sold the cattle in 1998.  After that they both worked at TDI in St. Croix Falls together until they retired. 

Barb was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Arlene Johnson, along with her brother-in-law, Robert Ferries.  

She is survived by her husband, Dennis; brothers, Ron Johnson and his wife, Sandy, Bill Johnson and his wife, Lynn; sisters, Sandy Bartlett and her husband Bill, Marie Ferries and Lori Van Doren; 3 nieces; 4 nephews; 8 great-nieces; and 3 great-nephews.  

No funeral will be held, in spring she will be put to rest next to her mother at the Bone Lake Cemetery.
