Obituary for Clara Lucile Sullivan
Clara Lucile Sullivan, 86, of Centuria, WI passed away peacefully on July 28, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her family. Clara was born in Trade Lake on May 27, 1931 to Walter and Amelia Goodremote. She grew up in the Fauln area.
She was united in marriage to Thomas Sullivan on November 11, 1950 and to this union five children were born.
Clara worked at Duncan Yo-Yo, Fabri-Tek, Charmol and Vikron. She helped out at the church with tying all the quilts that the women sewed. She loved her garden and canned many quarts of vegetables. Clara wasn’t much of a traveler, but she traveled to Germany and other states to see her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved spending the time with her family.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Thomas (of 59 years); brothers, Floyd and Adolph; sisters, Frances and Lisa.
She is survived by her five children, Susan Lundgren, Linda (Rick) Framsted, Sharon (Wayne) Ankrum, Wayne (Linda) Sullivan and Karen (Rudy) Martin; 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Daniel (Lois) Goodremote; sisters, Shirley Wagenius and Beverly Schlechter; sisters-in-law, LuAnn Goodremote, Ella Mae (Clinton) Anderson and Marge Sullivan; along with many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Visitation will be held at the Rowe Funeral Home in Frederic on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 from 5-7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Fristad Lutheran Church in Centuria, WI on Thursday, August 3, 2017 with visitation at 10:00 a.m. followed by the service at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Mel Rau officiating. Interment will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery in Frederic.
