Obituary for Debra Lynn Rush
Debra Lynn Mishler Rush, 66, of Cushing, Wisconsin passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, May 9, 2022. Debra was born on October 7, 1955 in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin to Harland and Marian Mishler.
Throughout the years, Debra traveled and lived in many parts of the country returning in her later years back to her childhood home. Hardly ever seen without a camera in hand, she had a great passion for photography. Often hiking long treks for the perfect contest winning shots. She enjoyed creating lovely handmade items, whether for family gifts, sales or competitions. She also loved growing a large garden and spent many hours preserving her harvest. She was an active member of Wolf Creek Methodist Church, assisting to implement online video services during the pandemic to be able to reach those members who weren’t able to attend in person.
Debra was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her children: Dawn Green, Brian Dipzinski, LaurieAnn (Michael) McCreary, Steven (Merelise) Rush; Siblings: Michael Mishler, Bradley (Debbie) Mishler, Susan (John) Smith, Julie (Charlie) Norris, 16 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many friend across the country.
There will a celebration of Debra’s life at Work Creek Methodist Church, 2417 River Road, St. Croix Falls on May 21st with visitation starting at 10:00 am and services to follow. In lieu of flowers, Debra had asked donations to be made to Wolf Creek Methodist Church.
