Obituary for Elizabeth B. Germain
Elizabeth Bernadette Proba Germain, age 82, of Luck, Wisconsin passed away on October 17, 2020 at Christian Community Home of Osceola.  She will be missed deeply by beloved husband of 59 years, Raphael; children, Jim (Kelly), Jane (Steve), and Jodie (Patrick); grandson, Joseph; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Elizabeth was born on June 6, 1938 in Banatzki-Brestovacz, Yugoslavia to Theresa and Joseph Proba.  The family immigrated to the United States where they built their life in St. Paul, Minnesota.  There, Elizabeth met her husband, Ray, married and raised a family.  Upon retirement, they made Luck their full-time home and made many friends in the church and greater community.

A Funeral Mass will be held with respect to current COVID regulations at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church in Balsam Lake, WI on Saturday, October 24 at 11:00am.  A live stream of the service will be shown at 10:45 a.m. on the Facebook page of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church.  Please know that our family welcomes your prayers from home if you are unable to attend.  Private interment will take place at The Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Christian Community Campus Foundation or Heartland Hospice Memorial Fund.  Our family is grateful for their gentle care of Elizabeth, wife and Mom.

You are invited to leave condolences, memories and photos at www.rowefh.com .  Arrangements are entrusted to Rowe Funeral Home, 715-472-2444.
