Obituary for Eugene R. Johnson
Born August 2, 1947. to Emil and Helen Johnson in Siren, Wisconsin. He Lived in Clam Falls Township. He was Baptized and Confirmed at the Clam Falls Lutheran Church. He went to Maple Valley grade school until 5th grade, then Indian Creek 6-8grade and graduated from Frederic High School. After graduation he was drafted into the Army serving 1 tour in Vietnam. He had many occupations consisting of Rollite, VFW Manager, Pepsi Corporation, Petersons Lumber Co. Manufacturing Plan in Luck, Beckmark Lumber and was employed at Hertel at the Casino as a security guard. He married Sharron Hutton July 8, 1972 and to that union he was blessed with 2 sons, Dustin Grant and Daren Eugene. He was a loyal fan of the Green Bay Packers and enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and barbequing with friends. He was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Parents, and Sister Marilyn Mangelsen. He is survived by his 2 son Dustin and Daren, Brother Bennie(Pat), 2 sisters Karen (Owen Harvey) Olson, Diana (John) Mangelsen, 4 Grandchildren Chelsey, Lea, Shawn, Lindsey, Step Mother Elaine, Many Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles and Friends. Funeral Services were held on Friday, August 4, 2006 at the Clam Falls Lutheran Church with Rev. Rex Brandt officiating. Music was provided by Mary Lou Daeffler and Milton Johnson. Burial was in the Clam Falls Cemetery, with Duane Martin, Bruce Potter, Bobby Mangelsen, Chris Johnson, Chad Olson, Bruce Hughes as pallbearers, honorary pallbearers were Meredith Beckmark and Brian Rogers. The Rowe Funeral Home in Frederic assisted the family with arrangements.
