Gerald "Jerry" E. Asper of Luck, WI passed away peacefully on March 7th, 2018 at the Grantsburg Continuing Care Center.
He was born to parents, Edward and Eunice Asper at Grantsburg, WI on July 12th, 1936. Jerry grew up in the Atlas area and graduated from Luck High School in 1954. He married Nancy Christensen at the Trade Lake Baptist Church on November 12th, 1957. To this union were born son, Bradley September13th, 1958 and son, Tracy January 9, 1960.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Eunice and son, Bradley (Brad) Asper on Sept. 11, 1976. His funeral was on his 18th birthday.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy (Christensen) Asper of Luck, WI; son, Tracy Asper of Bemidji, MN; granddaughters, Danielle “Dani” (Ryan) Decorah of Webster, WI, Kristina “Krissy” (Brent) Dugger of Siren, WI; grandsons, Tucker Asper and Tanner Asper of Bemidji, MN; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Gerald “Jerry” and Carol Christensen of New Richmond, WI.
Jerry was known for his love and appreciation of the 1960’s era of collector cars, especially the Ford Mustangs and the Ford square Thunderbirds. He did many complete restorations for both himself and others.
We are so thankful for the St. Croix Hospice and the tender, gentle care they provided for Jerry when he was so very, very sick, and to our dear brother, Bruce Larson, what would we have done without you!!
