Obituary for Gerald S. Schultz
Gerald (Jerry) Schultz, age 75, of Frederic, WI passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Burnett Medical Continuing Care Center.
He was born January 6, 1942 in Frederic the son of Theodore and Ruth Schultz.
He was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Frederic. In recent years he became an active member at Crosswalk Community Church. He enjoyed going to Men's Bible Study.
Gerald enjoyed spending time with his family, camping, traveling, dancing, woodworking, and going to Skonewood on Sunday nights.
Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Ruth Schultz; his sister, Bea Talmadge; sister-in-law, Sherry Ditsch; brother-in-law, Art Young; father-in-law, Benjamin Robbins; and mother-in-law, Eunice Robbins.
Gerald is survived by his wife of 55 years, Bonnie Lou; his children, Marjie (Bruce) Gravelle, David Sr. (Connie) Schultz, Debbie (Patrick) Conwell; grandchildren, Thomas Jr. (Rachel) Blakeslee, Tracy (Amber) Blakeslee, David Schultz Jr., John (Tiffany) Schultz, Derek (Shelby) Campbell, Matthew (Jessica) Schultz, Anna Schultz, Tia (Mark) Dietz, Tera Conwell (Chaz Ducommun), Angie (Bill) Blizil; great-granchildren, Kylie, Chloe, Kenzi, Carli, Macee and Maili Blakeslee, Madison, Oliver, Lila and Kaiden Schultz, Breanna, Brayden and Broc Blizil; one brother, Wayne Schultz; sister-in-law, Patty Young; brothers-in-law, Gary Robbins (Judy), Bob Ditsch, Kevin Robbins (Denise), Lloyd Talmadge; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held at Crosswalk Community Church in Frederic on Monday, June 26th. Visitation will begin at noon and the service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Rich Hutchison officiating.
Interment will be held at Granum Cemetery in Milltown Township. Pallbearers will be Thomas Blakeslee Jr., Tracy Blakeslee, David Schultz Jr., John Schultz, Derek Campbell and Matthew Schultz. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tia Dietz, Tera Conwell and Anna Schultz.
