Obituary for Gladys A. Peterson
Gladys Agnes (Krogh) Peterson, 78, of Luck, WI, died Thursday, May 30, 2013 at Regions Hospital surrounded by her loving family

Gladys was born July 28, 1934 to Gilbert and Agnes Krogh. She graduated from Luck High School in 1952. On December 17, 1955 she married Gerald Peterson. To this union 4 children were born.

Once her children were in school, Gladys worked at jobs in Luck that included Dr. Spofford’s optometry office, Production Credit Association, Art Anderson Realty and Flowers Forever.

Gladys had a passion for growing flowers, especially lilies, feeding and watching the hummingbirds, sewing for her grandchildren, and trying new recipes for family gatherings.

Gladys was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Norman; and granddaughter, Emily.

She is survived by her husband, Gerald; her 4 children, Karen (Calvin) Johnson, Neil (Tammy) Peterson, Ron (Jerette) Peterson, Julie (Jon) Christensen; as well as 10 grandchildren, Charlie (Jodi) Johnson, Kaylene Johnson, Lauren, Meagan and Jillian Peterson, Christy (Dave) Scanlon, Heather (Rodney Marek) Peterson, Luke, Anna and Katie Christensen. Gladys also has 5 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at the Bone Lake Lutheran Church, Luck, WI, on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held at the Rowe Funeral Home in Luck on Friday, June 7 from 4 to 7 p.m. and again at the church on Saturday 1 hour prior to the service.
