Obituary for Harlan L. Bach
Harlan Lyle Bach a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather passed away suddenly on January 5th, 2017 at the age of 58 while at his home in Luck, Wisconsin.
Harlan is survived by his wife, Susan (Nielsen); sons, Andrew (Sarah) and Matthew (Roni); 2 grandchildren, Mason and Freya; his brother, Peder (Laurene); nieces, Kimberly (Ryan) O'Connor, Kristen (Josh) Bach; and multitudes of other family and loved ones. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Harlan was born in Siren, Wisconsin on November 3rd, 1958 to Lyle and Herdis Bach. He was a life-long worker in the dairy industry and certified cheesemaker who worked as a supervisor at the Burnett Dairy Cooperative in Grantsburg, Wisconsin. On August 23rd, 1987 he married Susan, his high school sweetheart and love of his life. On October 3rd, 1987 and June 14th, 1991 he welcomed his two sons who played a large role in his life.
Harlan was a dedicated family man and loved nothing more than spending time with his wife, sons and grandchildren. He was a devoted husband and father who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping with his family and friends. Harlan had been living on the Nielsen family farm in Luck, Wisconsin which allowed him the opportunity to work outside in his free time managing the property as well as a vineyard, orchard, large garden, and herd of goats. He enjoyed socializing with his many friends and family. He was a dedicated worker always rising up to any challenges at work and home. Harlan always wanted to help in the tasks of others, lending wisdom and offering assistance to those that needed it. Harlan will be deeply missed by his friends, family and all who knew him.
