Obituary for Jack Welch
Jack told everyone he wanted to retire at 55, but not like this… so if your other half “NAGS” you to see a doctor please, please, please go!!!
Jack lived a full active life! But always talked about doing more. always had a few different projects going on, the house remodel was on going for like 15 years, but he was so proud when a room was finished, minus a couple of little things, like doors (couldn’t find one to fit).
He was a proud MARINE VETERAN. He was honored to serve for his county. He was quick to tell you if your flag was tattered or if you flew it without a light. He even took down a few!
Jack was always there to help anyone. He was known to drop everything, whatever he was doing, load up what was needed, and just go.
The HUNTING SHACK that he designed and built was his man cave, and he always wanted his comfort there. It had everything in it, and was making plans to enlarge it with covered parking and bed area!
Oh and his BOBCAT was his favorite toy. He was always doing something with it. Either moving or tearing stuff out! To him clearing snowing was ALL OF THE SNOW. Every walk way, every mail box, all our drive areas, and he would even scrape the street after the plows went through! He loved talking about his Bobcat and the next item it needed… he was so excited when that new place opened in St. Croix Falls. He would walk around there like a kid in a toy store!
Jack was a proud PARKER HANNIFIN EMPLOYEE for over 24 years. Oh yea, he complained but he learned a lot, and was proud of every accomplishment he achieved there. He was also known to speak his mind to bosses and employees alike with what he thought and how it should be done! But he was fair, honest, and always gave his all.
Everyone can say that Jack loved costume. He had his most fun thinking of what he would be next! Santa was his favorite, and it took a few years to get just what he wanted. This year would have been great, as he found lots of bells so the kids would not only see him, but hear him coming!
Jack and his wife, Londa, were married for over 27 years (last anniversary, Jack said it felt more like 50!). And through it all, they remembered to say “I LOVE YOU” each and every day!
Jack will be loved and remembered by his wife, Londa; and by his “BIG ASS FAMILY”:
