James Aaron Chadwick, beloved husband, father, son, brother, of Frederic, Wisconsin, passed away on October 7, 2021 at his home at the age of 45.  Jim was born October 17, 1975 in West Virginia.  He grew up in Hastings, MN and graduated from Hastings High School in 1994. Â
As a boy, Jim enjoyed playing with friends until sunset. They would play baseball, football, hockey and anything else they came up with down in Cowtown near his house.Â
Jim met the love of his life, Shari Hanson, while working at Perkins in Hastings.  Jim and Shari married in 2004 and made their home in Hastings until they relocated to rural Frederic in 2006 and later in 2018 moved down the road to the family farmhouse. Â
Jim and Shari are blessed with two incredible daughters, Neela and Julia. Their god-daughter, Arianna held a special place in his heart. Â Jim was a devoted family man. Â He could always be seen cheering on his girls in their activities and loved supporting all the children in the community. Â They enjoyed family outings, often simple things like going to garage sales and area fundraisers.Â
Jim was gifted with a generous heart, a wry sense of humor, and an unwavering loyalty to family and friends.  Jim and Shari were excellent hosts, often welcoming family and friends into their home for holidays and gatherings.  He loved animals and with the girls would always want to bring all the critters home.  As an avid sports fan, Jim cheered on the Vikings win or lose.  He gave his extended family and friends a reason to do their weekly research at fantasy football.  Jim worked at Menards and Bernick’s Pepsi until 2019, when he joined Shari working at the Frederic Design shop that she purchased in the heart of downtown Frederic.Â
Jim is survived by his wife, Shari; daughters, Neela and Julia; mother, Dorothy; brothers, Tom and Brian; sister, Candie; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.Â
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents and other loved ones.Â
All are welcome to a visitation on Thursday, October 28th from 4-7pm at the Rowe Funeral Home in Frederic. There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, October 30th at 1pm at Zion Lutheran Church Trade Lake. Friends and family are welcome to wear their favorite sports attire or whatever they are comfortable in. Â
