Obituary for Jane A. Juleen
Jane Aldoris (Erickson) Juleen, age 91, was born May 29, 1922 in Cushing, Wisconsin. She was the only child of Claus and Hulda Erickson. She attended Round Lake School, Lanesdale School and St. Croix Falls High School prior to moving to Minneapolis her senior year. She graduated from Marshall High School in Minneapolis. Jane married Carl Juleen on October 18, 1940. After several moves early on, they settled in Milltown Wisconsin, where they resided for 60+ years.

Jane worked at the bank and electric company in Milltown before becoming the librarian at the Milltown Public Library. She held that position for many years before becoming the Milltown Treasurer and Clerk.

Jane was very active in the Legion Auxiliary and Milltown Lutheran Church, serving in all capacities of office for the Women’s Group. Jane was instrumental in starting the Annual Church Bazaar, which still continues every fall.

Jane was known for her sewing and craft skills, outfitting the family in everything from t-shirts and sweatshirts, to prom dresses and wedding gowns. Although we try, none of us has acquired her talent!

Jane passed away on July 18, 2013 at Gracewood Senior Living in North Branch, Minnesota. She is survived by her children, Charles Juleen and wife Jeanne of Grantsburg, Terry Juleen and wife Joan of Milltown, Joanie Romans and husband John of Eureka. She was grandmother to 16 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl; daughter, Janet, infant great-granddaughter, Paige.

Funeral services will be held at Milltown Lutheran Church, Milltown, WI, on Monday, July 22, at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held at Rowe Funeral Home in Luck, WI on Sunday, July 21 from 5 to 7p.m. and again 1 hour prior to the service at church on Monday. Rev. Mel Rau will be officiating. Music will be provided by organist, Cheryl Peper and soloist, Kelly Rogstad. Jane will be laid to rest next to her husband Carl at Milltown Cemetery. Pallbearers are John Juleen, Carl Juleen, Kevin Juleen, Tony Benes, Andy Benes and Mark Meyer. Honorary Pallbearers are Mike Juleen, Aaron Cousins and Nathan Cousins.
