Obituary for Janice Mae Banda
Janice Mae (Borchert) Banda, age 75, of Luck, WI passed away August 21, 2014.
She was born on November 6, 1938 to Theresa Carr and Edward Borchert. She met and married Don Matheson, together they had two children, Patty and Sindy. They were later divorced and she met Edward Fast, they also had two children, Elden and Loretta. She met and married Ronald Rose August 1, 1964. Ronald Rose helped raise Janices previous four children and together they had three children, Juanita, Deborah and Thressa. They were later divorced. She met and married Gabriel Banda, and together they had one daughter, Ebanjelina.
Janice had miscellaneous jobs in the Idaho Falls, Idaho area and the Luck, WI area, but she took great pride in being a homemaker and stay-at-home mom. Janice enjoyed fishing and never got tired of it rain or shine, she enjoyed it. She loved going to the casino, wouldnt spend too much, but could make that money last as long as she was there. Janice was a jokester, she had a spunky personality. She was also very loving and caring and took alot of people to help them out. She didnt have much herself, but didnt hesitate to help others.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents; latest husband, Gabriel Banda; one sister and two grandsons.
She is survived by two brothers, Ronald (Marlene) Borchert and LaVern Borchert; 1 sister, Jeannie Staples; children, Patty (Mike) Pickett, Sindy Matheson, Elden (Amy) Rose, Loretta (Ed) Passow, Juanita (Frank) Quaderer, Thressa Pannell (Tony Burgess), Deborah Higley (Brett Nelson), Ebanjelina Banda (Kirk Johnson); 26 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; extended family and friends.
Janice will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Funeral services were held at the Rowe Funeral Home in Frederic, WI on Thursday, August 28, 2014. Pallbearers were Ronald Borchert, Elden Rose, Agostino Banda, Frank Quaderer, Kirk Johnson and Travis Rose. Janice was laid to rest at Maple Grove Cemetery in Frederic following the service.
