Obituary for Jimmy Mosay
Jimmy Mosay, 63, of Balsam Lake, WI died on Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at the Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. Jimmy was born on August 19, 1946 to Archie Mosay and Estella (Wakemeup). Jimmy served his country in the United States Army and was wounded in the Vietnam War. After his time in the service, he drove semi for 35 years and had a 1,000,000 mile record to his credit. Jimmy enjoyed traveling with his wife, hunting, spending time with his grandchildren and his little dog Onie. He is survived by his wife, Glenda; son, Jimmy Mosay Jr.; granddaughter, Shelby Mosay; step-children, Franki Crist and her husband Tom, Tina Thompson and her husband Steve, Stephen Lischalk and his wife Victoria; 7 step-grandchildren, Erica Thompson, Jacob Thompson, Dalton Lischalk, Wyatt Lischalk, Cole Lischalk, Spencer Crist and Serena Lischalk; sister, Dora Ammann; brothers, Dan Mosay and Kenneth Mosay, many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2009 at 1:00PM at the Round Lake Community Center in Johnstown Township in Rural Luck. Melvin Eagle and Anton Treuer will be officiating. Visitation will be on Friday, November 27th, from 4 to 7PM at the Rowe Funeral Home in Frederic. Pallbearers will be Tony Ammann III, Joseph Greywolf Mosay, Wayne Mosay Jr., Jay Saroes, Tom Crist, Tony Ammann Jr., Karen Mosay and Mike Decourah. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tom Saroes, Larry Matrious, Ray Dumire, Frances Songetay, Jacob Thompson, Stephen Lischalk and Luther Hall. Interment will take place at Balsam Lake Cemetery with full military honors. Call Bruce at the Rowe Funeral Home for assistance - 715-327-4475.
