Obituary for June L. O'Donnell
June Leona ODonnell of Frederic, WI died on January 20, 2015 at the Frederic Nursing and Rehabilitation Community. She was 89 years old.

June was born on March 19, 1925 at Lake Mills, WI to Marion Young and Anna Augusta Young.

On January 25, 1948 June married John ODonnell at St Lukes United Methodist Church in Frederic where they raised their children, Sylvia, Dennis and Valerie.

June was an active member of St. Lukes United Methodist Church where she was involved with the Ladies Aid and all phases of the church. She was a member of the Good Cheer Club and for many years was President. She was also active in the Jersey Association of Wisconsin. June and her family were the first to hold the Frederic Family Days Breakfast.

June was a loving, kind and devoted wife and mother. She loved playing cards, spending time outdoors, dancing, reading and in later years traveling to California where she made many new friends.

She is survived by daughter, Sylvia (Bob) Johnson; son, Dennis (Linda) ODonnell; and daughter, Valerie (Harold) Martin. She is also survived by many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John; her parents, Anna and Marion; her sisters, Agnes and Marian; and her brothers, Noble and Clifford.

Celebration of Junes life will be held Friday, June 5, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Lukes United Methodist Church in Frederic with Pastor Arveda "Freddie" Kirk officiating.
