LeRoy Fisk, 89, of Frederic, WI, died Monday, October 9, 2017, at the Frederic Nursing Home.
LeRoy was born on February 26th, 1928, in Wood River Township, Grantsburg, WI, to Lawrence and Zatha (McLain) Fisk. He lived his whole life in Grantsburg/Frederic area. LeRoy attended school at the Round Lake School.
On December 12, 1947, he married Ellen (Christian) Fisk. He spent his life running the family farm and raising their family. In the later years he also spent many hours playing cribbage and card games with family and friends and enjoyed going to the Casino.
LeRoy is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ellen; son, Duane Fisk; grandson, Michael Fisk; great-grandsons, Addam Fisk and Terrance Carlson; great-great-grandson, Marshall Fisk; sister, Mabel Kimmes; brothers-in-law, Harland Brask, Jess McLain, Ray Kimmes, Elmer Marquart, and Carol Peterson.
LeRoy is survived by sons, Roger (Suzi) Fisk, Larry (Rita) Fisk; daughter, Karen (Daniel) Carlson; and daughter-in-law, Laureen Fisk; grandchildren, Roger John (Val) Fisk, Douglas (Diane) Fisk, Christopher Fisk, Amy (Eric) Dueholm, Nathan (Randi) Fisk, Corey (Lacey) Fisk, Stephanie Fisk, Jeremy Carlson, Jennifer (Travis) Ellefson; great-grandchildren, Dustin (Alyx) Bystrom, Danielle (Nicholas) Borresen, Amelia and Felicia Fisk, Kevin (Tanesia) Fisk, Natalie and Derek Fisk, Amber Leehe, Britta and Anders Dueholm, Blake Fisk, Cody Carlson, Ashley Funk and Olivia Ellefson; great-great-grandchildren, McKinley and Dominick Borresen, Ciara and Briar Leehe, Rowan and Oakley Fisk; sisters, Lucille Brask and Irene Peterson; special person, JoAnn Olson; many special nieces and nephews and wonderful friends.
A Memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 13th, 2017 at the Trade Lake Baptist Church with Rev. David Prince officiating - visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at the Union Cemetery, Trade Lake Township.
