Obituary for Lucille A. Martini

Lucille A. Martini, age 97, of Milltown, WI passed away peacefully on October 7, 2015.

Lucille was born on April 13, 1918 in St. Paul, MN the daughter of Benjamin and Helen Bohonek. She grew up in rural Baldwin-Woodville area and graduated from Baldwin High School. She married Ross Martini on October 4, 1941. Together they had four children. She worked with Ross farming (1946-1961 rural Woodville, WI), Red White Grocery Store (1954 in Woodville, WI), Martini Pontiac (1961-1973 in Woodville, WI), Skogmo Clothing Store (1974 in Turtle Lake, WI), and Martini Motors (1976-1990 in Milltown, WI ).

Lucille loved her time on the lake with family and friends. She enjoyed pontoon rides, playing cards, the Packers, the laughter and company of those around her. She was a very positive, energetic and caring person who had compassion for everyone. She was able to live in her home in Milltown until her last 7 days at the Pioneer Home in Luck, WI. The care and caring she received is greatly appreciated.

Lucille treasured her family as we treasured her. She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Mary (Terry ) Wall; son, Tom (Martha ) Martini; grandchildren, Tim Hop, Kyle (Heather) Nielsen, Haylie Nielsen, Staci (Tim ) Hyland and Angela (Russ) Hooverson; great-grandchildren, Ashlyn Hyland, Shalayne Hop, Chloe and Lucie Nielsen, James Calabria, Max and Sofia Hooverson; many nieces, nephews and countless friendships that meant so much to her. She had a special place in her heart for her dog Scooter.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ross; her son, Michael; and daughter, Susan.

Memorial services will be held at Luck Lutheran Church on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by the service at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Ralph Thompson will be officiating.
