Phillip Jack Grey, 89, died February 2, 2018 at the St. Croix Regional Hospital. Phillip resided the last 1 ½ years at Frederic Nursing and Rehab in Frederic, Wisconsin.
He was born January 10, 1929 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. He married Beverly Joan Drake in 1949. They resided in Minneapolis, MN for 67 years before moving to Luck, WI in 2013. He retired from the Glass Business and was a proud member of Local 1324. He loved his many dogs over the years.
Phillip was a proud WWII Veteran. He looked forward every year to attending the Veteran’s program at Luck School where his great-grandchildren were in the program. His latest joy is his great-grandson, Tyler following his footsteps in serving our country in the U.S. Navy.
Phillip was preceded in death by wife, Beverly; mother, Tress; father, Fred; brothers, Harold, Jimmy, David, Clifford; and sister, Rose.
He is survived by daughter, Barbara (Brian) White of Richfield, MN; son, Jeffrey (Lori) Grey of Grantsburg, WI; eight grandchildren, Amy (Brian), Kim (Aaron), Ryan (Nikki), Jodi (Ron), Allison, Missy (Mark), Steven (Kristen), Patrick (Lindsey); and 21 great-grandchildren.
A service will be held later this spring at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner. A dual service for Beverly and Phillip will be held at that time.
