Obituary for Robert "Bob" R. Butterfield
Robert "Bob" R. Butterfield of Centuria, WI passed away Monday, August 15, 2016 at 4:20 p.m. at home surrounded by his loving wife and family. Bob peacefully passed away at the age of 63.

Bob was diagnosed in early November, 2015 with Stage 4 Cancer. He was very brave and his concerns were to make sure that his wife and family would be ok without him.

Bob was born in Hayward, WI on May 11th, 1953 to Elmer and Lillian Butterfield of Shell Lake, WI where Bob grew up with his sister, Darlene (Kenny) Steinhart from Spooner, WI and his brother, Jesse Butterfield of Shell Lake, WI. He was preceded in death by his father in September, 2012 and a nephew, Bo Estes in 1996.

He is survived by his loving wife, Peaches Asmus of Centuria, WI; his daughter, Jessica Butterfield of Martinez, CA and two sons, Steven (Jolyn) Clarke and Travis Butterfield of Ellsworth, MI; three step-children, Shannon (Mark) Katcher of St. Croix Falls, WI, Sheila Strain and Jeremiah Brunberg of Hayward, WI; 19 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Bob served in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was loved and respected in his community.

Bob was an over-the-road truck driver for most of his working career, and he enjoyed coming home and spending time with his pets and his family. He was quite the story teller. He would love to fool his grandchildren with his amazing story telling. He will be missed.
