Shirley Plomski of Osceola, WI. Formerly of Luck, WI. passed away peacefully at Osceola Hearthside Assisted Living Memory Care where she lived for the past six months. Shirley was born on November 15, 1938 to Abner and Iris Gilbertson of Clayton, WI. and had five siblings. Â
She was very proud to be Valedictorian of her graduating high school class. Shirley was blessed to have two husbands who loved and adored her. Her first husband Don Jerrick passed away in 1979 at age 43 after having two kidney transplants, they were blessed with four children one of whom passed away at two years of age. In March of 1983 she married Bruce Plomski and three step-children united our families together. Â
Shirley was welcomed into heaven by first husband Don, son Brian, parents Abner and Iris Gilbertson, brother's Duane and Doug, her In-laws, and many other relatives and friends who went before her.  She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years Bruce, her children Steve and (Teresa) Jerrick, Lori and (Tom)Vilstrup and Brad and (Julie) Jerrick. Step Children, Tara Plomski, Amy Plomski and Todd and (Marci) Plomski. Grandchildren: Bryan (Heather) Vilstrup, Shannon (Isaac) Helmer, Jaclyn (Luke) Wilsey, Justin Jerrick, David (Kelsie Nelson) Jerrick, Kaitlyn (Sever) Lundquist. Step Grandchildren: Jonathon and Jack Plomski, Robert Bobick and Peyton Rutledge. Great Grandchildren: Bennett and Hallie Vilstrup​, Mara and Rory Helmer and Wilk Lundquist. Also her two sisters Kathie Lien and Joyce Helmueller and Brother Bruce Gilbertson and families and a host of nieces, nephews and awesome friends. Â
Shirley loved sports, especially her Minnesota Vikings Football Team and was the best cheerleader at her grandchildren's events. She was fun loving, generous and very proud of her Norwegian Heritage. Â
Funeral Services will be held at Luck Lutheran Church, 510 E. Foster Ave. Luck, WI. 54853 June 23, 2021 with visitation at 10:00 a m. and funeral at 11:00 am. Burial to follow at Luck Cemetery with a light lunch at Luck Golf Course.Â
In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to the Dementia Society, ARDC of Polk and Burnett County, Luck Lutheran Church or Peace Lutheran Church.Â
