Obituary for Stephanie A. Newville
Stephanie Ann Newville, age 20, of Cumberland, WI died as a result of a tragic car accident April 28, 2015. Now our angel on earth is our angel in heaven with her mother.Stephanie was a 2013 graduate of Cumberland High School where she was a four year member of the volleyball team.She was currently employed as a caregiver at Monroe Manor in Barron, worked with the latchkey day care program in Cumberland and as a cook at County Line Bar and Grill in Comstock.Stephanie was an adventurous spirit who was a great hunter, loved to snowmobile and spend time with her friends, family, dog Kane and Texas collared lizard Pocket.She was also an invaluable caregiver to her mother who now welcomes her with open arms.She is survived by the love of her life, Cory Sager; father, Harry (Meredith) Newville; brother, Tanner Newville; sister, Jolayne Cross; brother, Will Cross and brother, Austin Winger; grandparents, Cary Carlson, Warren and Julie Shortess, Sally Newville and George Newville; great-grandfather, Allen Carlson; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.She is preceded in death by her mother, Michelle Rae Shortess Newville and her great-grandparents, Barbara Carlson and Marge and Steve Shortess.Visitation will be held 4-7 p.m. on Friday, May 1st at Trinity Lutheran Church in McKinley, WI and visitation also at 10 a.m. with a service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 2nd at Trinity Lutheran in McKinley, WI with Pastor Neal Weltzin officiating. Lunch to follow at the church.
