Obituary for Terrie D. Giller
Terrie Diana (Anderson) Giller, resident of Luck, WI, died on Friday, March 15, 2013. She was born June 23, 1958, in St. Croix Falls to LuVerne and LuElla (Nielsen) Anderson. The family lived in Luck, River Falls, and rural Grantsburg, WI.
Terrie graduated from Grantsburg High School in 1976. She attended Minnesota School of Business and worked in several area businesses. For the last 18 years, she was employed at the Unity Clinic.
Terrie married Gary Giller on October 16, 1993, at West Denmark Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Gary; precious children, Dustin (Vanessa) Luke and Reilly Grace Giller; her father, LuVerne Anderson and step-mother Helen; and Gary’s parents, Jack and Judy Giller. Also surviving are brothers, Billy Ray (JoAnn) Anderson and Daryl (Tammy) Anderson; and sister, Tamera (Greg) Guggisberg; Uncle Raymond Nielsen; nieces, Kallie (David) Branstad, Stephanie Anderson; and nephew, Graidy Guggisberg. Her grandchildren, Carter, Bennett and Dossen Luke were the joy of her life. She is also survived by many close friends from her work and in the community.
Terrie was preceded in death by her mother, LuElla Anderson.
Terrie was kept busy juggling her schedule to accommodate Reilly’s many activities at Luck High School and spending time with her 3 grandsons.
Terrie was an active member of Luck Lutheran Church and a leader in the Sunday School program for many years. She surrounded herself with family and friends, embracing them with humor and love – teaching them that love is the most important thing of all.
Funeral services were held at Luck Lutheran Church on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 with Rev. Ralph Thompson officiating. Music was provided by organist, Margie Nelson and vocalists, Janet Holdt and the Luck Lutheran Choir. Burial followed at West Denmark Cemetery next to Terrie’s grandparents, Jens and Martha Nielsen. Pallbearers assisting were Jon Dexter, Brian Holdt, Kevin Holdt, Mike Kurkowski, Kevin Weinzierl and Greg Heine.
