Obituary for William M. Ennis
William (Bill) Ennis of Boise, ID passed away unexpectedly on October 31, 2015 at the age of 64, at his cabin by Luck, WI.

Bill was born September 28, 1951, in Shell Lake, WI to Bill and Marge Ennis.

He was raised in Spooner, WI and graduated high school there as well. He then went to WITI in Rice Lake, WI where he took a Wood Technologies course. While attending WITI, he met his future wife, Ramona (Strenke), and they married on November 4, 1971. Together they had two children, Michelle and Micheal. They also fostered numerous kids for many years, including 2 of Ramonas sisters and a brother.

Bill held numerous different positions throughout the years, but the last one gave him the most joy. Him and Ramona were area managers of Union Creek Campground by Sumpter, Oregon for five years. Bill, with his quick wit and charm, fit well with all the new people he met. He also had his own construction business for a time, and he was always building something with his tools and wood. He was very proud of all of his work a true Jack of all trades.

Bill had a very big heart and was always willing to help anyone out in any way he could. He helped Santa out for many years, as the town Santa in Frederic, which he enjoyed immensely. He was an amazing man and very unforgettable. He was happy if he could make other people smile.

Bill enjoyed many things in life. Taking vacations with his wife and seeing the world was one of his favorite things to do. They went on 5 different cruises to many different islands, toured numerous National Parks, and meandered their way across the United States, including a Hawaiian vacation for their 30th wedding anniversary and a graduation trip with their son to Alaska. He also loved deer hunting, cooking on the grill, and his Green Bay Packers and Boise State football teams.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Marge Ennis; his mother-in-law, Mildred; his sisters-in-law, Karen Ennis and Donna Ennis; and his brother-in-law, Bob Strenke.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Ramona of Boise, Idaho; daughter, Michelle (Terry) Harkness and grandson, Keegan of Brock, Texas; son, Micheal Ennis and (Arielle) of Boise, Idaho. Also his father-in-law, Fred Strenke; brothers, George (Sunny) Ennis, Bob (Gail) Ennis, Tom Ennis, Jerry Ennis, Pat (Peggy) Ennis and John (Kathy) Ennis; sisters, Kathy (Jack) Peck, Carol (Jim) Peck, Sue (Rick) Coquillette, Jane (Bob) Borman, Mary (John) Fitzpatrick and Linda (Larry) Zeman; also many other family members, nieces, nephews and many, many friends.

A Visitation Celebrating Bill's Life will be held at Rowe Funeral Home in Frederic, WI on Wednesday, November 4th, from 4-7 p.m. The funeral will be held at Crosswalk Community Church in Frederic, WI on Thursday, November 5th at 1 p.m., with the Reverend Richard Hutchison officiating. Music will be provided by vocalist, Jill Lund and pianist, Maria Potvin. A time of gathering with the family will immediately follow the service.
