Obituary for Jerry B. Richter
Jerry Blaine Richter, 73, passed away on July 5, 2021 at Golden Age Manor. 

Born and raised in Frederic, WI, he was the oldest child of Richard “Dick” and Gladys Richter.  He was one of five siblings.  Jerry attended Frederic High School until age 16.  He took over Frederic Livestock and Machinery Sales at  the age of 19.  On September 15, 1973, he married Linda Rogers.  Jerry and Linda would have three children, Heidi, Samantha and Jason.  They operated  a dairy farm together until early 2006 when health issues forced them to retire. 

Jerry enjoyed bowling, fishing and breakfast at the local café.  He was very close to granddaughter, Savannah. 

He is survived by daughters, Heidi (Rick) Stevens, Samantha Otten and son, Jason (Jess) Richter. Also survived by sisters, Judi Richter, Janet Hughes, Jill (Don) Murphy and Joan (Tony) Hochstetler; brother-in-law, Mike (Mary) Rogers; sisters-in-law, Kathy (Greg) Hewitt, Wendy (Hal) Minor, Mary (Dean) West, Sheri (Ron) Clark and Patti (John) Krahenbuhl; many nieces and nephews; and 15 grandchildren. 

Jerry is preceded in death by his wife, Linda; parents, Richard and Gladys Richter; father-in-law, Clifford Rogers; mother-in-law, Carna Rogers; brother- in-law, Greg Rogers; and son-in-law, Chad Otten. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at Rowe Funeral Home in Frederic on Friday,  July 16, 2021 from 4-7pm.
