John William Struck, 63, of Frederic, WI was sent to heaven on April 24, 2018. He was born October 13, 1954 at the Frederic Hospital to William and Rosemary Struck.
John graduated from Frederic High School in 1973. He attended Eau Claire Technology Institute for 2 years with an emphasis in Hydraulic Mechanics. He married his high school sweetheart, Lori Johnson of Indian Creek in 1975 and later had 2 children, Bill and Heidi. In 1984 the couple built their home in Frederic.
John was employed by Greene Implement in Osceola and then later Frontier Ag and Turf for 35 years as a salesman. When he was not working, he loved to spend his time hunting and fishing, gardening with Lori, and riding the lawn mower, but mostly spoiling his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His kindness, love for others, and humor will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William (Jr.) and Rosemary (Bergman) Struck; sister, Judy Kuchenmeister; and grandparents, Lloyd and Veronica Bergman and William and Grace Struck; brothers-in-law, Bob Brewster and Stan Gustafson.
He is survived by his wife, Lori; children, Bill (Krista) Struck, Heidi (Chad) McNitt; grandchildren, Ashley (Sam) Carlson, Alexsandra Lonetti, Gino Lonetti, Macey, Jack, and Kailyn McNitt; great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Willow, Waylon, and Waverley Carlson; sisters, Joann (Lee) Pomerleau, Janet Brewster, Susie (Bobby) Houston, Teri (Rich) Larson, Julie Hall; brother, Joel (Cary) Struck; sister-in-law, Ardell (Gene) Haug; brother-in-law, Brian (Enid) Johnson; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Frederic on Saturday, April 28th - visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by the service at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Paul Peterson will be officiating. The family has requested casual attire of any Wisconsin sports teams or camouflage.
