Obituary for Daniel Sr. and Rosemary Rothbauer
Memorial services for Daniel C. Rothbauer Sr. and his mother, Rosemary Rothbauer will be held at Rowe Funeral Home, 206 Second Ave. E., Luck, WI 54853 on Saturday, February 27, 2016 visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by the service at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Diane Norstad will be officiating. Eulogy by Rosemarys granddaughters, Deanna DeMay and Shannon Schuweiler.Â
DANIEL CLYDE ROTHBAUER SR., age 63, of Balsam Lake, WI, formerly of St. Paul, MN and Luck, WI, passed away unexpectedly January 31, 2016. Daniel is survived by his children, Dan Rothbauer Jr., Jacob Rothbauer, Michael Rothbauer, and Dawn (Bradley) Evert; his grandchildren, Jonathan, Michelle, Megan and Ethan; his siblings, Cheryl (Edward) Schwartz, Linda (Ron) Martin, James Rothbauer and Tania Rothbauer; his nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by father, Richard J. Rothbauer; brother and best friend, Edward Rothbauer. Full Military Honors will be presented for Daniel following the service. Dan was proud of his military service. As a Vietnam Vet, Dan was haunted by and suffered from the war.Â
ROSEMARY DIAN (COLBURN) ROTHBAUER, age 81, of Balsam Lake, WI, formerly of St. Paul, MN and Luck, WI, passed away peacefully and met her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 16, 2016.
She is survived by her children, Cheryl (Edward) Schwartz, Linda (Ron) Martin, James Rothbauer and Tania Rothbauer; 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Melvin Colburn and sister, Viola Banitt; many nieces and nephews; and many, many children she helped through her life.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Anna Colburn; her husband, Richard J. Rothbauer; her sons, Edward Rothbauer and Daniel Rothbauer Sr.; and siblings, Raymond Colburn, Hans Colburn, Elizabeth Hall and Isabell McKenzie.Â
