Obituary for Lloyd G. Anderson
Lloyd G. Anderson, resident of the MN Veterans Home, formerly of Milltown and Frederic, WI, died Sunday, October 5, 2008, at the age of 84. He was born June 26, 1924, in Ogema, WI, to Gladys and Clifford Anderson. Ruth and Lloyd lived in the Frederic area until 1970. After that time they moved to Milltown. They were together for 42 years. He served his country in the U.S. Army from September 28, 1944, to November 19, 1946. Lloyd was self-employed in logging and as a car mechanic. The past 3 years Lloyd lived at the Veterans Home in Minneapolis. Lloyd was a kind, gentle, caring person. Lloyd was preceded by his parents; wife, Ruth; 2 brothers, Harvey and Perry; and 2 sisters, Joyce Hall and Shirley Redfern. He is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Ed (Susan) Knutson; 2 granddaughters, Mrs. Jon (Wendy) Byl and Wanda Goulet; 2 great grandchildren, Cheyenne Evans and Blake Byl; brother, Willard Anderson and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held at West Denmark Lutheran Church, Luck, WI, on Thursday, October 9th, - visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. followed by the service at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Mike Rozumalski will be officiating. Music will be provided by soloist, Milton Johnson and organist, Margie Nelson. Pallbearers are John Taylor, David Anderson, Bruce Hochstetler, Tom Hochstetler, Larry Hochstetler, and Jon Byl. Interment will follow at Milltown Cemetery. Rowe Funeral Home of Luck, Wisconsin, was entrusted with funeral arrangements. For information call 715-472-2444
